Large indoor pool and direct beach access are definite perks. The rooms need a serious update; cleanliness was an issue too.

Direct access to the beach is a major plus. The room we had was outdated, and the AC didn't work well. Lots of activities available like water sports and a games room. Staff seemed overwhelmed, leading to slow service at times.

The room was hot upon arrival and struggled to cool down. The bed was clean and comfortable, which was a plus. We had a lovely balcony view, enhancing the experience. the noise from neighboring guests and barking dogs was disruptive. The jacuzzi was out of order, and the pool was cloudy, diminishing the appeal. While the shower was nice with big fluffy towels, the overall maintenance seemed lacking. Keycard issues caused significant frustration, leading to a slow resolution. Despite friendly staff, including helpful bartenders, the room's comfort left much to be desired.

I loved staying at this hotel because it was just a quick walk away from the beach, giving me the perfect opportunity to soak in the sun and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere; the fantastic views from my room and the spacious pool area made my experience even better, while the friendly staff ensured I felt welcome throughout my stay. I also took leisurely walks to nearby spots like Water’s Edge Park and McGee Beach, both less than a 10-minute stroll away, as well as the Texas Surf Museum and Selena Memorial Statue, both just a bit farther for more sightseeing and exploration! Although the rooms were clean and comfortable, it would be nice if the maintenance service was a bit more responsive.

We arrived to find only one elevator working in a rundown hotel. After an exhausting wait, our keycards wouldn’t work. It took hours for maintenance to finally let us in, and the manager barely even acknowledged our frustration. So frustrating!

There are plenty of fun rides for kids and a variety of shops for adults. The staff was friendly and helped us with tickets quickly.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but the experience was worth it.

Great location right on the beach, perfect for families! Nice indoor pool and a bar by the beach. Relaxing vibe with volleyball available outside. Rooms had air conditioning, a microwave, and a flat-screen TV. The fitness center and hot tub were cool. Had an awesome backdrop for pictures too!

Had an absolute blast soaking up the sun on the beach just steps away from our room! The heated pool was perfect for evening swims, and the rooms were so comfortable with stunning views. The friendly staff made every moment even more special!

My friends and I had a blast trying out Water Trampoline and Jet Ski rentals near the hotel. Being so close to the Texas State Aquarium and McGee Beach made our stay super fun. The location was epic for chill weekends or wild party nights!
I wish they had a cool rooftop bar for us young adults to hang out and have more fun! .

The mini fridge and microwave are practical for saving on meals. issues abound. Broken air conditioning left us freezing. The room felt outdated, with mold on the ceiling. Accessibility to the beach isn't as advertised; a barrier obstructs direct access. Rude management adds frustration, particularly during our prolonged wait for room access due to a faulty keycard. Breakfast options are disappointing, and parking is poorly managed with additional fees. Staff voices concerns about management, which reflects broader issues. Improvements are needed, but the location remains a strong selling point. Would consider other options next time.

You can’t beat the sunrise views from the beach. The location is fantastic for setting up your own lounge area with chairs and umbrellas, making it easy to relax.
The pool and jacuzzi could really use some cleaning.

The location was fantastic - right on the beach, with a bar that had live music until midnight. Hearing the ocean outside was super relaxing, and the room was just perfect when we arrived, no need to mess with the temperature. Security walking around at night made us feel safe, which was great.
The room was a bit small, and the beds were only suitable for two people. The air conditioner didn't cool properly, and when we requested a larger bed, we were quoted a significant additional fee.

Beds were cozy and perfect for our family of four. The beachfront location provided easy access to the water, making our trip enjoyable.
The hotel lobby was messy, with wet floors and unaddressed concerns from other guests. Rooms were not properly maintained, with issues such as broken furniture, poor A/C, and even missing hot water.

The location was a major win, right on the beach with a lovely balcony view. the experience quickly soured. The pool was freezing and apparently broken, despite multiple assurances it would warm up. I faced cleanliness issues and a strong smell in the room, plus a frustrating lack of responsiveness from staff. The elevators malfunctioned, trapping my kids and me until the fire department arrived. Breakfast was served on paper plates, which felt out of place for the price. This trip turned into a series of letdowns, overshadowing the initial excitement for our getaway.

So, when we checked into the Emerald Beach Hotel, I have to say, we were a bit disappointed. The room had some issues that really affected our stay. The A/C wasn't working, and let me tell you, it was hot! We had to bring our own fan to cool off. The bedding was not the cleanest, and there were even roaches crawling around on the floor, which was a major turn-off. some of the outlets in the room were not working, making it difficult for us to charge our devices. the location of the hotel was great. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and beach from our room, which was a plus. The property was well-kept and clean, despite the outdated rooms. The hotel had a pool/bar area that we enjoyed, and there were plenty of places to walk to along the ocean. there were other areas that definitely needed improvement. The room itself was outdated, with cracked floors and limited TV channels. We also had issues with hot water and non-functioning outlets in the bathroom. For the price we paid, the room size was quite small, and overall, it didn't live up to our expectations for our special occasion. the hotel was in poor shape. The elevator was out of order, and there was mold on the ceiling of our room. The walls were thin, and we were disturbed early in the morning by noise. The lack of cleanliness and maintenance really impacted our stay negatively. In terms of service, the check-in experience was subpar, and we had to wait for staff to fix a broken door in our room. And it was disappointing to find out that the hotel was under renovations and that services like the restaurant were closed without prior notice. No compensation was offered for the inconveniences we faced. While the garden furniture, welcome drink, and tours/ticket assistance were nice touches, there are definitely areas that the hotel needs to address.

Enjoyed water trampoline, jet skis, and banana boat rides. The hotel provides fun activities and great amenities. Loved unwinding at the beachfront hotel.
Loved playing hide and seek with the leaking toilet and waking up to surprise water puddles in my room.

we really liked the very spacious room with the king-sized bed at emerald beach hotel. even tho we got the corner room it was quiet and private with a nice sized balcony. view to the ocean is beautiful. had a good view of the business of the bay to people watch but it was still quiet. has a mini fridge and microwave which came in handy. towels are amazing. our room opened up to a view of the beach. couldn't have asked for a better location for our first visit. waking up in the morning to the sound of waves crashing as we sat and enjoyed the view from our bed. we felt beach vibes even thought we were in the room. it was also very easy and convent to get to/from our room, using the elevator and parking lot.

Our stay at a beachfront hotel was one for the books! As two women traveling alone, we felt safe and welcomed by the friendly staff. The location was incredible, with easy access to the beach and stunning views of the water. The amenities provided, like the pet-friendly policy and flooring in the room, made our stay even more enjoyable. We appreciated the effort to keep the hotel clean and the quietness in the hallways. it was a memorable experience for us.
One aspect that fell short was the outdated room. Considering the price we paid, we expected a more modern and updated accommodation.

I chose Emerald Beach Hotel Corpus Christi for its prime location near the Selena Memorial Statue, which I was eager to visit. The hotel's welcoming family of staff members pleasantly surprised me, making me feel perfectly at home at every moment of my stay. I also enjoyed the decadent selection of frozen tropical libations served up on the breezy sundeck.
Exercise room & hot tub closed. Bathroom door sticks.
